Alekhya & Shravan

Alekhya & Shravan

The camera leads a photographer, unknowingly a photographer may cross over a fence or enter deep forests, unwillingly the photographer may climb trees or enter shallow waters, all in a bid to get the perfect shot. Our shoot with Alekhya and Shravan was more an exploration of Sierra, Nevada. We love what we do because of such shoots. In the chilly wintertime, we drove up to Lake Tahoe with them. Dressed to the nines they stood against the backdrop of the crystal clear blue water of the lake. That was part of our plan and then we deviated, somehow wandering unknowingly into an empty private property, we didn’t even realise we were trespassing, the view had stunned our senses. The whole place looked like something right out of a landscape painting, the shining water, the setting sun, the ducks swimming around and the ramp that went into the lake. Once we realised that we were trespassing, we quickly took some shots against the irresistible view and left. We were very happy with the pictures that we clicked on this shoot, despite the cold weather, we did a lot of unconventional things with water in this shoot and we could use the sunset to our advantage. We will always fondly remember this day and we’re sure that beyond the pictures that come from this shoot, the experience of being there in that exhilarating moment will forever be etched into the memories of Alekhya and Shravan.
